Apple has replaced the iTunes application by three new applications such as Apple TV, Apple Podcasts, and Music. In case you still sync your iPhone or iPad through iTunes, then there is nothing to worry about. You can still sync your iPhone or iPad for performing this method.

Here’s how to sync your iPhone or iPad with macOS Catalina.

Steps to Sync Your iPhone or iPad on macOS Catalina

•    Press on the Finder application located in the Mac Dock.

•    Choose the device given on the left-hand corner of the display given below the Devices option.

•    Press on the Music option located on the right corner of the display.

•    Go through the checkbox “Sync Music into your device” for activating the music for the sync procedure.

•    Below the Sync option, choose the Selected genres, artists, playlists and album.

•    Below the Options button, select the option which includes voice memos, automatically fill free space with songs and video options.

•    Choose the genres, artists, playlists, and album options.

•    Press on the Apply button.

•    Press on the Sync option to sync your iPhone or iPad with macOS Catalina.

Steps for Syncing Movies Between your iPhone or iPad on your macOS Cataline

•    Press on the Finder application given in the Mac Dock.

•    Choose the device provided on the left-hand corner of the display below the Devices option.

•    Press on the Movies option given on the right corner of the screen.

•    Go to the Checkbox Sync Movies into your device for the syncing process of the movies.

•    Press on the Automatically includes checkbox given below the Sync button.

•    You can start using the drop-down list for choosing all the content or select any other option provided on the drop-down list.

•    Press on the Apply option.

•    Press on the Sync option for syncing the movies among the Mac and smartphone.

Steps for Syncing Your TV Shows to an iPhone and iPad on macOS Catalina

•    Press on the Finder application.

•    Choose the device provided on the left-hand corner of the display below the Devices option.

•    Press on the TV shows option located on the right corner of the screen.

•    Go through the Sync TV Shows into your device checkbox to sync TV shows.

•    Go to the Automatically include checkbox.

•    Choose all unwatched option or select any other option by going to the drop-down list.

•    Choose all shows or selected shows option provided in the drop-down list.

•    In case you have clicked on the chosen TV shows, then go through the checkbox given near the TV shows which you wish to start syncing on the device.

•    Press on the Apply option.

•    Press on the Sync option for syncing TV shows among the Mac and smartphone.

Steps for Syncing Podcasts to an iPhone and iPad on Your macOS Catalina

•    Go to the Finder application,

•    Choose the device given on the left-hand corner of the display below the Device option.

•    Press on the Podcasts option provided on the right corner of the display.

•    Click on the Sync Podcasts into your device checkbox for syncing your podcast.

•    Click on the Automatically copy checkbox.

•    In the drop-down list, choose the all unplayed or any other option from the drop-down list.

•    In case you click on the chosen podcast, then go to the checkbox near the podcasts which you wish to sync.

•    Press on the Apply option.

•    Press on the Sync option to complete the syncing process among the Mac and smartphone.
